Food & Beverages

Enjoy the culinary delights of Sikkim at Limboo Homestay.

At Limboo Homestay in Yuksom, we offer food filled with aroma and nourishment of organic Sikkimese culture.

As a trusted village homestay in Sikkim, we welcome you to experience meals that reflect the warmth of our home, the purity of our land, and the pride we take in our heritage.

Our family prepares fresh, home-style dishes using locally grown, organic ingredients. You will not find restaurant-style dining here—what we serve comes straight from our kitchen, made with care and rooted in tradition.

Meals That Feel Like Home

We include breakfast and dinner with every stay. We will provide seasonal foods, fruits, snacks, and customary dishes. All the food ingredients are sourced from our garden or local farmers.

Our dishes highlight authentic Sikkimese flavours—from steamed momos and millet-based breads to chapatis, Daal, Rice, traditional curries and vegetable stews.

Though we prefer Vegetarian meals, non-vegetarian meals are happily prepared upon request.

Lunch Policy – Kindly Pre-Order

Most of our guests spend the day exploring Yuksom and the surrounding trails, so lunch is not served by default.

However, if you plan to be at the homestay during lunch hours, we would be glad to prepare something for you. Let us know in advance, so we can source and cook accordingly.

We value zero food waste and prefer to serve meals fresh.

Drinks with a Local Twist :

Looking to try something unique? Taste Tongba, a warm fermented millet drink perfect for cool evenings.

We also offer homemade fruit wines in small batches using local produce. These are available at a separate cost and are popular among guests looking to unwind in the evenings.

Traditional bamboo mug filled with steaming millet-based local brew called Tongba, a popular ethnic drink from Sikkim and Nepal, served with a bamboo straw and brass kettle in the background.
